it never ceased to entertain me. and i like the idea of putting several mini-games into a single flash. although some of the ideas have been done before, it never loses its originality because of the fact that you've successfully incorprated materials in the movie with the mini-games. you have created an element of surprise and this game makes its players hunger for more.
and in case you wonder, the highest rank you can achieve is 'extreme death skater', which is at 350000 points. after 400000 points or so, you'll start getting messages like 'stop playing' , 'you're just showing off' and 'nobody is impressed' and things like that. i finally decided to quit at 450000 points. (which proves how addicting the game can be!)took me a full 15 minutes and a great deal of concentration to actually get that far though.

Beast Boi Pt.1

"no effort is shown..."

submission: Beast Boi Pt.1

the randomness and its simplicity is the only thing i liked, however, i would stop watching it as soon as it has finished loading though becuase it consists of virtually nothing but two flashing images. too repititve for a flash animation. it doesn't even have a storyline and a nice background to keep us entertained, which is essential for a decent flash submission. if you're trying to tell us something, you really need to add in more text or sound to show the connection between those two pictures (if any), so that we could understand it better. in this way, you can establish a stronger interaction between you and viewers, and get a better score.
it's needs a lot of work... try harder next time if you're going to work on a serious flash animation.

Biff and Baff - Rolling

"very challenging indeed..."

date: July 1, 2007

this game is very addicting and i've been playing this for hours on end. unlike most games on newgrounds, this game requires a very high degree of concentration and a great deal of preserverance. it's very demanding and can sometimes be very frustrating, especially when you got to the fourth level. but each time you completed a level, you feel the need to move on to the next until you've finfished the game because you really experienced a sense of accomplishment after all the hard work, and you longed for more. i liked the idea of giving each level a specific theme. it makes the game more interesting to play through and less repetitive. although the graphics and sound are not the top notch, i can tell you've put in a lot of effort. however, you really need a quality button. the game runs pretty slowly on my computer, and i hate that.

but i got stuck at level 5.2.. i can't open the door at the bottom (which wasn't locked by the way) no matter how many times i tried. dunno if that's a bug or something. i looked for an alternative route tried to move my way past the obstacles but i kept bouncing off them and fell to my death... is that supposed to happen at all?

you've done a really good job on this. this game is very well programmed and the graphics and animation in this game is almost unmatched. but i suggest you considering working on a less difficult version as most of the reviewers, including me, found it too demanding and pracitcally impossible to move on to the next level (since you have to complete a level on both medium and hard modes). it's too frustrating and it has taken me at 10 minutes to unlock a new weapon. you have to be very accurate and to avoid using up all your ammulation at the first few levels as reloading would result in certain failure.
the learning curve is ridiculously steep and there's no room for error. upon completion of a level (mostly out of pure luck), i feel physically cramped and lose the interest in attempting to proceed to the next level.
although some of the comments other reviewers gave you are rather insulting, they brings out a point: THE DIFFICULTY HAS TO BE REDONE. and that has to be taken into cosideration of.

---- DON'T READ THIS IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME----
you need to look at 4 symbols, read all 3 books, then go to cellar and finally interact with gwen. you won't be able to have access to underground tunnels if you don't follow the order. that's probably the only glitch i've found.

use the tab button on your keyboard to help you locate clickable objects if you find the background too dark.

the eerie silence and the darkness are the two major components which scare you most. you'll feel the tension beginning to build up as you explore deeper into the unknown. kinda makes you feel like screaming out loud even without the nasty sound effects (heavy breathing, as in The Ugly), which gets extremely irritating after a while. nice intro too. i know your next installment will be even better. (maybe with a larger interface, or puzzles to keep us occupied?) can't wait for the sequel.

jesus... this is undoubtly the most brutal game ever created. i know you had spent so much effort on this game but the animation and the unnecessary violence kinda spoiled the game. the body movement is very unnatural and and was not properly animated. it appears that it was created directly by motion tweens. (lazy bum) also, it isn't realistic at all. no person in the right mind would choose to stay at the crime scene while the murderer is still around. and how on earth could mother still remain consious despite a severe amount of blood loss and the fatal wound to her neck? makes no sense to me.
however, your hard work is reflected on the intense graphics and i must give you credit for that.

EDIT:
for those who got stuck, walkthroughs had been posted in the review section several posts behind me. check them out.

i found it difficult to switch between four colours at first, (very frustating indeed), but i started to get the hang of it after several attempts. i got 576 for the high-score mode. the trick is to stay focus at all times. and with enough practice, you can change colours and pass through the obstacles without thinking.
up for a challenge? toggle to low quality and see how well you can do.

"decent game"

it was very neatly done. i can feel the tension gradually building up as i progress to higher levels. i look forward to your future installments.
but level 10 is impossible though. a swarm of giant monsters came flying towards me and there's no way i could shoot them all down, even though i've maxed out my fire power, and with constant clicking.

i am sure that all your hard work will pay off, and it will (hopefully) make it to the frontpage. it grabs the attention of viewers. youi have never lost your sense of humor, and i burst out a laughter as it reached its climax. believe me, you'll start receiving money if you publish it as comics. but you need some voice acting cos i hate going through all the lines.

Thanks, but there is a problem with voice acting. It will make my movie size well over the limit. Thanks for the input.

Jak 3: Gold Edition

"addictive"

date: September 11, 2005

a game packed with action and adventure. this is a first person shooter which does not only focus on shooting. the game is highly enjoyable, and it never lost its appeal and interactivity. the background music fitted in very well. but i got stuck when im 14% through. i kept moving about after the spike had fallen on top of him. and nothing happened. except the giant monster kept coming back to life again, and the health bar remained at the same level. i 'killed' it the times over, and still haven't figured the way out. is that part of the game?

Author's Response:

after the rock falls you have to go down and kick his ass. Use dark jak cause it does more damage.
